Description:
The Instron 2663-822 Standard Video Extensometer (SVE) is a non-contact optical measurement system for precise detection of strain during tensile, compression, and flexural testing. Using contactless measurement via digital image processing, markers on the specimen surface are tracked—completely without mechanical influence on the test results.
Ideal for applications where traditional contact extensometers (e.g., with blades) are unsuitable, such as with thin, sensitive, or elastic materials. The SVE is compatible with Instron materials testing machines and can be integrated into the Bluehill software (depending on system version).
