Founded by Celil Güleç in 1995 on a 5,000 m² indoor area, Ankara Lider Plastik ve Ambalaj A.Ş. has established itself among the leading and reputable firms in the industry with its automatic thermoforming, vacuum machines, 7-color printing presses, and state-of-the-art sheet extrusion machines. Operating since 1995, ANKARA LİDER has consistently expanded its export markets, currently supplying products to over 70 countries, primarily in Europe, the Middle East, and Africa.

Since 2010, ANKARA LİDER has diversified its operations by founding GÜLEÇ BANYO LTD. ŞTİ in 2012, LİBERTAS PACKING LTD. ŞTİ in 2013, and GÜLEÇ METAL LTD. ŞTİ in 2014, thus providing services across different plastic industry segments.

With investments made in 2011-2012, Ankara Lider expanded its indoor manufacturing facilities from 5,000 m² to 15,000 m², continually updating its machinery and technology in accordance with evolving international standards. Utilizing advanced forming and 7-color printing machines, ANKARA LİDER manufactures 1,600 tons per month of thermoformed bowls, cups, lids, trays, detergent containers, ice cream containers in diameters from 71 mm to 190 mm, as well as PP, PS, ABS, PE, GPPS, PMMA, Solid Acrylic, and Thermoplastic sheets and rolls with thicknesses between 0.15 mm and 8 mm, up to 180 cm in width and unlimited lengths, including bottom foil production. The company serves the food, detergent, and packaging industries (both wholesale and retail), as well as the bathroom, defense, medical, white goods, automotive, refrigeration, lighting, furniture, construction, and vacuum industry sectors.

Between 2017 and 2020, after extensive R&D, the company began domestic and international sales of solid acrylic extrusion sheet machines, capable of producing sheets between 2 mm and 8 mm in thickness, in standard or custom dimensions, for customer-specific applications.
