Hamba 2400 cup filler

The Hamba 2400 is an automatic, single-lane cup filling and sealing machine with a rotary design.

The system is specifically designed for filling and airtight sealing of liquid to highly viscous products (e.g., yogurt, cream cheese, cream, sauces, or delicatessen products) into preformed cups.

Upon request, the machine can be modified and retrofitted to meet customer requirements. In particular, adjustments can be made for the cup format, the product to be filled, and the product feed system.

1. Technical Specifications and Performance Data

Production capacity: Maximum 2,400 cups per hour (dependent on cycle time and product).
Dosing range: Flexibly adjustable from 100 to 500 ml (special versions from 5 ml can be realized).
Format flexibility: Standard design for round cups with a flange diameter of 75 mm to 95 mm (exchangeable tools can be adapted for different formats or rectangular cups).
Indexing cam mechanism: 12-part aluminum rotary table for precise indexing.
Machine weight / footprint: Compact dimensions of approximately 1,300 x 1,300 x 2,000 mm with a net weight of approximately 500 kg.

2. Process Flow and Operation

Cup destacking: Automatic cup feed from the magazine using vacuum suction cups into the cells of the rotary table.
Cup control: Sensor-based detection (no-cup control) to prevent incorrect filling.
Dosing station: Volumetric piston dosing via a stainless steel product hopper (usually with mechanical or pneumatic level control).
Flange placement: Precise placement of the pre-cut sealing flange (aluminum or PET) from the magazine.
Sealing station: Thermal hot sealing of the flange to the cup rim.
Cup outfeed: Automatic lifting of the cups and transfer to a downstream discharge conveyor.

Printer and collection tray available upon request.
