The NC joining modules of the NCFH type 2151B... consist of a robust housing, in which a position sensor is integrated as an absolute encoder, and a piezoelectric pressure/tension force sensor. The pressure or tension forces acting on the sensor generate a proportional electrical charge in the piezoelectric measuring element, which is converted into an analog voltage signal by the integrated charge amplifier.

The drive motor is an electronically commutated AC servo hollow-shaft motor, which is controlled by a servo amplifier. Constant speed, i.e., constant travel speed, is ensured. Standard functions such as joining on a block, to a position, and force-controlled joining, as well as moving to intermediate positions, are supported.
