Description
Offered is an automated edge trimming line with singulation, trimmer for cross-cutting, 2 stacking machines, additional discharge, and cross-cutting of stacking slats:
Boards 2000-5000 mm long, 16 - 40 mm thick, 70 - 200 mm wide, cycle rate of 29 or 58 pieces/minute, operated by one person sitting at the joystick:
- Boards are transported laterally using a 4-strand chain cross conveyor
- Singulation inclined conveyor 6000 mm wide, 3000 mm inclined
- Alignment roller section
- Chain cross conveyor as a layer former
- Star infeed and inspection unit before the trimmer
- Edge detection (ALFHA-Edger)
- Trimmer with 11 saws in a 50.5 cm grid: The operator (seated) at the joystick assesses:
without re-trimming, 5000 mm into stacking machine 1, alternatively: without re-trimming, 4000 mm into stacking machine 1
with re-trimming, 4000 mm into stacking machine 2 with re-trimming, 3000 mm into stacking machine 2
with re-trimming of short lengths for discharge into a box with re-trimming of short lengths for discharge into a box
with re-trimming, 2 or 3 x 101 cm for stacking slats with re-trimming, 2 or 3 x 101 cm for stacking slats
or waste cut – cutting length 505 mm for the underlying vibration chute
- 2 stacking machines: 1 x 2500 to 5000 mm and 1 x 2000 to 4000 mm
- automatic lowering of finished packages and onward transport to the automatic strapping station
- FROMM strapping with 16 mm plastic band and automatic onward transport to the discharge roller conveyor

For example, one employee was able to produce, package, and strap approximately 15,000 boards of size 4000/17 x 76 mm in 9 hours.
The system is still assembled, but the upstream chipping unit has already been dismantled. The system is therefore immediately available. It is very robustly built and has always operated smoothly and without any problems.
