Maximum permissible 60 starts per hour. Fan motors have to be operated for at least two hours per month. • Other motors will change performance and Sound Pressure Levels quoted.
The standard fans are recommended for frequency converters with a: • clock frequency: < 16kHz • voltage speed increase : , dU/dt < 1000V • frequency: f < 60Hz For reduction of peak voltages, speed voltage increase and motor noise (at reduced speed) manufacturers of frequency converters recommend the use of sinus filters at the output, especially when using motor cables longer than 50 m. For shorter motor cables dU/dt motor reactors can be used for this purpose. If several motors are connected, the total of all cable lengths has to be considered. Taking electromagnetic compatibility guidelines into consideration, power chokes or input filters are to be used at the input side (and shielded cables having a proper ground connection are to be used)
