The HERBOLD Plastkompaktor is a system for agglomerating films, fibres, chips, dust and flakes.

Poorly free-flowing waste is transformed into an agglomerate with a high bulk density and good flowability, which can therefore be fed directly into extruders and injection moulding machines.

The system for sale has a main motor with 110 kW drive power and a throughput of 600 to 2000 kg/h depending on the feed material. All thermoplastics can be processed, even sensitive materials such as PET, PA and bioplastics can be agglomerated without thermal damage or discolouration.

The system consists of the feeding device with silo, the compactor, a secondary granulator with sifting and fines return.
On request, pre-shredding can be offered that is customised to the task at hand
Trials can be carried out in our technical centre for suitability tests and sampling.

We are the manufacturer of this system and can guarantee service and spare parts supply.
