Packaging line for the production and packaging of wet wipes, e.g. hygiene wipes, cleaning wipes, baby wipes, disinfecting wipes. The line is constructed from a wet wipe production unit and a flow wrap unit. Wet wipes production process: Unwinding of the nonwoven from 2 jumbo rolls and slitting into 5 lanes per roll (until moistening) for a fast production method, longitudinal folding in Z or C-shape, moistening via several spraying nozzles, cross cutting (wipes length), stacking and forwarding to the packaging unit. The flow wrapping unit handles: feeding the wet wipes, feeding the film and printing (hot stamping), hole punching (to open the pack), positioning the reclosable label and e.g. a seal label (the integrated 2-lane labeler allows offset labeling), bag cutting/heat sealing. The liquid supply system for moistening the wipes consists of 2 tanks with continuously mixing agitators and a liquid recycle unit. - Specifications: suitable for dry nonwovens (airlaid, spunlaid); folds: Z or C shape (change of folding tool necessary); fold face adjustable per side; dimensions of folded tissue: L(120-220)xW(90-110) mm; dimensions of unfolded tissue: L(120-220)xW(150-220) mm; number of wet wipes per pack (min. to max.): 30-120 pieces; grammage wet wipe: 40-80g/m²; speed of the machine in neutral: max. 5600 wipes/minute or max. 60 packs/minute; bag size: depending on folding dimensions and number of wipes per pack; film roll dimensions: width max. 360 mm, diameter: max. 400 mm; suitable films: OPP film (transparent, printed or laminated); nonwoven jumbo roll dimensions: width 800-1320 mm, diameter max. 1200 mm; label roll dimensions: width max. 60 mm, diameter max. 300 mm; dimensions tank for liquid: 900x900x1900mm; dimensions packing line: L13998xW5404xH2350 mm; total weight: about 10600kg; power: 19kW, 380V, 3-phase.
