Störi Mantel KP 900 AUTOMAT

The KP 900 Automat is a suitable solution for material preparation in the production of pallets and other wooden packaging products. On average, this saw can process 27-30 m3 of pallet cross-section per shift (8 hours) or about 20 thousand pieces of blocks for pallet production, depending on the cross-sectional dimensions of the processed material. The saw can be operated by one or two workers, depending on the nature of the material being processed, which is manually loaded into the machine.

Basic cutting modes
1. Manual mode
Each cut length is set by moving the material using the buttons on the panel, or by setting the length value on the control panel dial. Start the cut by pressing the button on the display. This method of use is suitable for single sequential cuts.

2. Automatic mode

a) Set one cut dimension for the entire length of the input material. When the pedal starts cutting, the entire material is automatically cut to this set value. When the cut is complete, the loader will go back to the preset value of the input material length. This mode is suitable for the production of pallet cubes. The advantage is the quick changeover between values when the input material changes frequently.

b) Set the desired combination of cut dimensions for the entire length of the input material. When the pedal starts cutting, the entire material is automatically cut to these length combinations. When the cut is complete, the loader will go back to the preset value of the input material length. Up to 10 programs with 10 lengths can be stored in the machine memory. Programs are very easy to overwrite, edit, insert or delete. Use this mode to achieve high material yields and is particularly useful in the production of cuttings for a wide range of packaging products.
In automatic mode, automatic front and back trimming can be set.

In the basic version, the saw is LEFT orientation, i.e. the material flow is from right to left.

An automatic loading system is included in the basic configuration of the saw. It is a pusher device that moves on a precision linear rail with bearings. This design ensures long life of the linear guide and very precise positioning of the workpiece in the cut.

The integrated side and top pressure ensure a firm fixation of the material during the cutting process, both to the work table and to the back support. This ensures that the cut is always precise, perpendicular and avoids unwanted material movement.

The clear LCD touch screen allows easy and comfortable operation of the machine. The individual controls are clearly visible, do not tire the operator's eyes and provide a perfect overview. Maximum ergonomics and designed software ensure the operator complete control over the machine.

A work table at the infeed before the cut allows the operator to conveniently sort and prepare the material, which is then moved to the loading area. This eliminates downtime in the operation of the saw and strenuous material handling. The table has a tilt of 8° and is equipped with a safety flap at its end to prevent accidental pushing of the material out of the operator's reach.

The basic fixed table at the outlet behind the cut is two metres long and partly under the cutting area cover. The operator can remove the cut material in complete safety, without being endangered by any cuttings, chips or risk of injury from the cutting wheel. The inclination of the table is 8°.
