Rotary autoclaves: These are used to sterilize products that present greater difficulties in heat transmission. Examples include vegetables in grains, grated or diced, and beverages such as milkshakes, teas, coffees, or evaporated milk. In this type, the basket rotates inside the autoclave, stirring the contents and preventing the pieces closest to the sides of the vessel from roasting.
