Pilot Evaporation system for concentrating feed from 12% to 65% (dry solids by weight percentage). Skid mounted compact Unit has all components and the electric controls on a frame it is a 1-effect Plate evaporation system driven by motive steam. With 163kg/h water evaporation design: flow rate in 200 kg/hr - pressure 1,5 barA - temperature 15 °C – at approx. 12%. Product out: flow rate 37 kg/hr concentrate - temperature 63°C - concentrate 65%. Main equipment: Plate heat exchanger, Condenser PHE, Preheater PHE-Feed, Preheater-Water, Cyclone separator for Effect-1, feed pump, Water loop pump, Effect-I recirculation pump 1, Effect-I recirculation pump 2, Effect-1 condensate pump, Condenser condensate pump, drain pump and vacuum pump. State of the machine: as new, only used for very few runs. Documentation digitally available: Electrical diagrams, Technical documentation, P&ID, Component drawings, Installation and Operation Manual. Built for R&D purposes. Unit can be used for process development and optimalisation, testing before industrial scale-up, testing new products or compositions, R&D, economy and technical feasibility study.
