Alzinger Lepton 5100 – Solution for the BioWaste Ordinance (BioAbfV) Ideal for biowaste separation: Effortlessly meet the statutory 1% limit!

As of May 2025, biowaste may only be processed if the contaminant content is below 1.0% by weight. Our Lepton 5100 has been specifically designed for this requirement.

Lepton 5100 Advantages: Separation Instead of Shredding

Gentle Bag Opening: Waste bags are reliably opened without shredding. A pre-shredder (slow-speed shredder) is not required!

Maximum Film Size: Films remain largely intact and are effectively separated during the first screening process, before they fragment in the compost windrow due to turning, heat, and UV light.

Highest Purity: Prevents microplastics in the process and ensures final product quality.

Process Innovation (flexible control):

Biowaste Processing (2-fraction): Reversible middlings conveyor combines medium and fine fractions for a homogenous result. Outcome: Clean target fraction for digestion/composting plus oversize fraction with films/contaminants.

Compost Refinement (3-fraction): Separation into premium compost, structural material, and energy wood. The ballistic effect extracts stones, glass, and hard plastics via the stone fraction conveyor. Integrated air separators remove remaining film residues.

Current Application: Successful biowaste processing for wet fermentation. The machine delivers a contaminant-free, homogenous fraction for the fermenter, preventing floating or sinking layers.

Inspection & Demonstration: On-site demonstration possible while in operation at our partner facility in the Kelheim district. Processes can be discussed directly with the plant operator.
