It is stiffened by welded triangular plates across the entire machine bed, making it extremely stable. The triangular shape used for load-bearing parts, with a large base, is the secret to ensuring lasting precision and stability. The machine layout allows the user an optimal workflow despite minimal space requirements. The base body constructed in this way therefore offers the machining unit a balanced and secure base with particularly good load distribution. The mobile unit carrier in gantry design is made of a solid monoblock. It is positioned in the X direction on prismatically ground guides via recirculating ball slides. The work unit is mounted on this mobile unit carrier on prismatic, ground guides and a recirculating ball slide. Axis movement: The drive system in the Y and Z axes is provided by ground ball screws of the highest precision class. The X-axis is driven by a backlash-free, preloaded precision rack and pinion drive. This ensures balanced load distribution during the positioning process.
