A gravimetric dosing and mixing unit designed for direct mounting on the inlet flange of a plastics processing machine. The device allows dosing and mixing of up to 4 granulated components.

The actual, measured and weighed quantities are constantly compared with the set values using a modern microprocessor-based control system, which guarantees very high recipe accuracy (+/- 0.1%) thanks to continuous self-optimization.

The complete unit includes:
2 feed tanks for primary material or regranulate/primary material

2 feed tanks for masterbatches or additives

2 pneumatically controlled conical dosing heads

2 precision dosing screws with motor drive

Material tanks – capacity approx. 7 litres

Weighing tank – capacity approx. 0.8 litres

Mixing tank – capacity approx. 3.0 litres

Manually operated gate valve

GRAVInet controller with colour touch panel for recipe, milled material and process data management, vibration compensation and continuous self-optimisation; built-in Ethernet port and standard reporting/printing functions
