Siemens AFA 4 G5a

The steam turbine has very low operating hours and was commissioned only once. The control system is integrated into a Siemens control cabinet, Simatic Multipanel type.

Electrical output: 781 kWe at 6.6 bar(a) pressure.

– Electronic fast-acting shut-off system with a separate valve
– Nozzle group valves for partial load performance optimization
– Lubrication system according to Frankenthal factory standards, water-cooled
– Safety and monitoring systems according to Frankenthal factory standards
– Flexible coupling based on vibration and torsional analysis
– Synchronous generator, 0.4 kV, IP 23 (optional IP 44 R), with rolling bearings and air cooling
– Mechanical test run on test benches at the Frankenthal factory
– Fully automatic operation via the central control system
– Monitoring cabinet IP 42, including synchronization, compliant with VDE/IEC standards, to be mounted next to the generator according to supplier standards, without power section
