Offered is an automated side board processing line with singulation, trimmer for cutting to length, 2 stacking machines, additional discharge, and cutting of stacking slats:
Boards 2000-5000 mm long, 16 - 40 mm thick, 70 - 200 mm wide, cycle rate of 29 or 58 pieces/minute, operated by one person sitting at the joystick:
- Cross transfer of boards with a 4-strand chain cross conveyor
- Singulation steep conveyor 6000 mm wide, 3000 mm inclined
- Aligning roller conveyor
- Chain cross conveyor as a layer former
- Star turner and sorter before the trimmer
- Edge detection (ALFHA edger)
- Trimmer with 11 saws in a 50.5 cm grid: The operator (sitting) at the joystick evaluates:
without re-cutting, 5000 mm into stacking machine 1, alternatively: without re-cutting, 4000 mm into stacking machine 1
with re-cutting, 4000 mm into stacking machine 2 with re-cutting, 3000 mm into stacking machine 2
with re-cutting, short lengths for discharge into a box with re-cutting, short lengths for discharge into a box
with re-cutting, 2 or 3 x 101 cm for stacking slats with re-cutting, 2 or 3 x 101 cm for stacking slats

- 2 stacking machines: 1 x 2500 to 5000 mm and 1 x 2000 to 4000 mm
- automatic lowering of the finished packages and onward transport to the automatic strapping station
- FROMM strapping with 16 mm plastic band and automatic onward transport to the discharge roller conveyor
- ALFHA control with Siemens S 7 - ensures perfect operation. Performance records / daily logs
- Control cabinets with Siemens components, SEW motors, Telco light barriers

For example, with side boards of 4000/17 x 76 mm, one employee produced, packaged, and strapped approximately 15,000 boards in 9 hours.
The system is still assembled, but the upstream chipping system has already been dismantled. Therefore, the system is immediately available. It is very robustly built and has always operated smoothly and without problems.
