Process description
The uncompressed, assembled door elements are transferred from an on-site automatic transport system to the Bürkle press line to be delivered. In the loading basket, the door elements are individually collected on each story. Once the basket is full, the door elements are alternately transported to the upper or lower press chamber of the multi-story press. The upper or lower press chamber of the press is unloaded using the unloading basket, while maintaining the order of the parts. This process represents a continuous cycle without waiting times, as the upper and lower press chambers are alternately loaded and unloaded. The collecting function of the loading basket is equipped with a timer: if the set maximum waiting time for uncompressed door blanks is reached, the press is automatically loaded, even if there are fewer than the maximum possible number of door blanks.

Loading basket (4 stories)
The basic structure is a bolted/welded construction made of steel profile tubes. The lifting basket with its 4 transport levels can be moved vertically between the two lifting columns and is guided by special plastic rollers. The vertical movement of the lifting basket is carried out by a lifting mechanism with a frequency-controlled electric geared motor with brake. The lifting mechanism is mounted on the lifting columns.
The 4 transport levels consist of belt conveyors and serve to gently transport the uncompressed material into the press.

The basic structure of the press consists of several uprights and three press tables, with the middle press table being fixedly mounted on the uprights. Both the upper and lower press tables are arranged so that they can be moved vertically relative to the middle press table. The movable press tables are each equipped with a synchronizing mechanism and an integrated safety system.
This configuration creates an upper and a lower press chamber. In these press chambers, the heating plates are movably suspended via a tie rod system, thus forming the individual stories. The opening and closing of the press chambers is carried out by hydraulic cylinders that are attached to cylinder suspension points. Each story is equipped with a separate transport film drive, via which the workpieces are fed in and out. The exact movement of the film is ensured by an electro-pneumatic film guide and tensioning device. The heating plates consist of steel plates that have been machined on all sides. These are equipped with channels that have been drilled from solid for the circulation of the heating medium and additional transverse channel bores for ventilating the film.
All essential screw surfaces of the press tables are face-milled and fitted with keyed connections.
The pressing pressure and pressing time can be individually controlled for each chamber.
