The Pieralisi Decanter is a high capacity horizontal centrifuge designed for industrial applications requiring efficient solid-liquid separation. The decanter is used for the separation of two or more specific phases of different densities, especially for the clarification of liquids in which suspended solids are present. The separation of solids and liquids takes place inside a cylindrical-conical rotating drum, where the heavier solid phase is collected on the periphery and continuously removed by an internal conveyor.
