It is reinforced by welded-in supports over the entire machine bed, making it extremely stable. The table design, with a large base, is the secret to ensuring lasting precision and stability. The machine layout enables the user to have an optimal workflow with a minimum of space requirements. The mobile portal beam is made of a solid monoblock. It is positioned in the X direction on prismatic ground guides via ball screw slides. On this mobile aggregate carrier, the working aggregate is in turn attached to prismatic, ground guides and ball screw slides. AXIS MOVEMENT The displacement of all axes takes place on prism linear guides with a large cross-section and ball screw shoes with a large contact surface, which ensure optimal sliding even at the highest speeds and accelerations. The precise and fast positioning of the moving portal (X-axis) is achieved by a pinion and rack with helical teeth. Ball screws with a large cross-section ensure the accurate positioning of the work unit along the moving portal (Y and Z axes). MOTORS, DRIVES AND INVERTERS The perfect mechanical dynamics and maximum positioning accuracy are controlled by the high-quality drives and brushless motors, which are designed to achieve a speed of up to 90 m/min while maintaining the best surface finish.
