Line Composition and Equipment

WEINIG GRECON HS 120 Finger Jointer – year of manufacture: 2018
Complete working line including a brush feeder for wooden elements, two throughfeed moulders, automatic glue applicator, pre-pressing station for finger-jointed elements, and a press with a pressing length of 6.5 m.

Automatic finger jointer feeding – ABB robotic workstation
ABB IRB 6640 four-axis robot providing automatic feeding of wooden elements up to 600 mm in length. The system is equipped with two pallet cells, allowing uninterrupted, alternating operation of the entire line with no downtime. Robot station year of construction: 2021.

Automatic glue supply system
Automatic glue suction from a 1000-litre IBC tank to the finger jointer. Integrated automatic agitator ensures consistent glue quality and process continuity.

Post-pressing element collection – FAMAD scissor lift
FAMAD DBNA-40T DUO scissor lift installed at the finger jointer press, intended for collecting battens after the jointing process. Automatic height adjustment. Working table dimensions: 6.0 m x 1.3 m.

Material transport system
Roller conveyor system with turntables, ensuring transport of strips to the robot loading cell and finger jointer. This solution guarantees smooth material flow and continuous operation of the entire line.

Roller storage for finger-jointed elements
Roller buffer storage for batten storage after finger jointing. Storage positions with a total length of 82 m.
