Bohle SBM 1500

The SBM 1500 offers fully automatic blasting of glass between 3mm-40mm thickness, with up to twenty stored programmes for repetitive work, or fully creative manual blasting with an air-cushioned, counterbalanced gun. The unique design of the Bohle SBM 1500 means the rear wall and glass remain stationary, while the entire blast cabinet moves across the glass, which is held securely in place by a vacuum seal. This construction ensures that the sandblasted glass remains scratch-free, and with no infeed or outfeed, the machine is ideal for tight working areas, occupying a footprint of only 4m x 1.85m. Despite its compact dimensions, the open-topped design accommodates large sheets with ease, and by rotating, the 1.5m blast stroke can be doubled. The Bohle SBM 1500 is engineered for high throughput and minimal maintenance, offering approximately 10 square metres per hour coverage and featuring hard-wearing Boron Carbide nozzles for maximum service life.
