Construction:
The supporting structure consists of an exceptionally robust monolithic steel base, heavily ribbed and very rigid; its particularly wide support surface is specifically designed to ensure the machine’s stability, providing sustained precision regardless of working conditions, without the need for floor anchoring. The base provides a large, solid foundation for the moveable gantry: the working unit is thus equipped with a balanced, stable, and resilient support capable of withstanding the highest demands, resulting in superior performance quality and greater accuracy.

The movable portal is formed from a solid single piece, anchored to both sides of the base and running on high-quality prismatic guides with recirculating ball carriages. Dual drive motors on the X-axis ensure top performance even under heavy-duty conditions.

Movement along the lower movable unit (X-axis) and along the gantry (Y-axis) is achieved via helical rack and pinion transmission. This enables higher tooth-by-tooth thrust, greater acceleration, and increased velocity along the X and Y axes. The specially designed helical gearing ensures lower wear on mechanical components and quieter operation.

The vertical Z-axis is driven by a ball screw, providing perfect balance under dynamic load as well as allowing for strong acceleration and deceleration.

The main milling unit is directly coupled to the Z-axis carriage, guaranteeing top-quality finishing since potential vibrations are fully eliminated.

Movement along the X-Y-Z axes is accomplished with brushless motors powered by digital inverters, offering:
- Reduced processing times due to improved acceleration
- Enhanced positioning accuracy with high-resolution encoders
- No need for setup referencing upon startup thanks to absolute encoders
- Practically no general maintenance required due to the brushless system, as there are no brushes

Axis movement and general machine operating elements are managed by an industrial NS module with digital data transmission.
