The machine features a fixed gantry with a moving table. The gantry is equipped with a height-adjustable crossbeam, which can be fitted with one or two vertical spindles in the VF 120 version. The gantry can also be fitted with one or two side-mounted (horizontal) VF 160 headstocks.

The clamping surface consists of two interconnected clamping tables, which can also be used individually when disconnected (only one table can be operated at a time).
