For sale is a Deckel FP4M Universal Milling Machine (Active) in very good condition. The machine has minimal backlash, and all slides move smoothly. Even at maximum spindle speeds, the milling machine runs quietly. The machine features hydraulic tool clamping. The FP4M was only occasionally used in a state-run facility for training purposes. On this newer FP4 model, the feed rates are steplessly adjustable in all three axes, and each axis also features a rapid traverse. A major advantage is the active 3-axis digital readout. With the Heidenhain control, you can input measurements that the machine will approach automatically. Oil change has been performed; mechanically and electrically tested.
