Hartford HCMC 1682 – Heidenhain TNC640, used – Year of manufacture 2021 – low hours!

Hartford vertical CNC machining center equipped with Heidenhain TNC640 control, oversized precision flat guides in X, Y, and Z axes, moveable clamping table, and a powerful main spindle with SK50 tool holder. The machine features a closed cooling circuit for the spindle and an automatic two-stage gearbox, spindle speed n = 10–6,000 rpm, max. power Pmax = 38 kW, max. torque Mmax = 979 Nm, a 32-position tool magazine with quick-change arm, and an ergonomically optimized work area enclosure. The enclosure has electronically monitored front sliding doors with inspection windows, as well as loading/unloading access to the tool magazine from the rear.

Cooling system:
Coolant:
External coolant supply nozzles installed at the spindle nose (vertical slide).
Coolant returns via two transverse and one longitudinal conveyor into the coolant tank. The coolant is pumped from the tank as required (via M-function or switch on the control panel) through the nozzles. Mechanical sieves are provided in the coolant tank for coolant filtration.
Optional:
For internal coolant supply (ICS), a high-pressure pump with a simple filter system is available. When ICS is activated, coolant is pumped from the tank through the high-pressure pump and filter system.

The machine has only been used for a single job. As that order is no longer present, the machine is surplus to requirements.
This is a very robust machine with high spindle performance – ideal for heavy-duty machining operations.
