WATKISS SpineMaster

The Watkiss SpineMaster is a print finishing machine that converts stapled booklets into SquareBack booklets, characterized by a flat, square spine. This technology gives stapled booklets a professional appearance similar to perfect binding, improves stackability, and reduces bulk. The machine can be used in manual or automated systems (e.g., at a stitching or printing system).

Transformation of stapled into SquareBack booklets: The SpineMaster shapes the spine of conventional stapled booklets into a rectangular form.
Professional finish: This gives the booklets an appearance similar to perfect binding, making them more attractive to print buyers.

Application: The machine can be used for various applications, from manual feeding to fully automated online integration in a complete booklet system. The machine was mounted on a Bourg booklet line.
