We are offering this used MORI SEIKI SH-50 horizontal machining center, manufactured in 1996, for sale.

Sales are exclusively within the EU. Due to the high administrative effort and lack of experience with export processing, we cannot offer sales and deliveries to countries outside the EU. Collection, loading, packaging, and transport are the responsibility of the buyer and at their expense.

The machine is still powered and available for immediate collection.

• P8 power supply, with a value of 1500, was replaced in August 2024.
• The spindle was repaired in 2017 and has since mainly been used for single-shift operation, as we primarily manufacture individual parts and small series. Therefore, the machine has mostly been used for setup work.

Known defects:
The rapid traverse speed of the X-axis has been reduced by 20% to extend the life of the telescopic covers.
The sealing ring is likely damaged during pallet changes, resulting in oil leakage. We have temporarily resolved this by installing a ball valve in between; we only need to open this when we change pallets, which we do not do very often.
The machine is sold as inspected, without any warranty or guarantee. Any liability for defects, including hidden defects, is excluded to the extent permitted by law.
The magazine loses its reference point after being shut down for a longer period. The procedure for restoring it is known.
