KASTO SBA 280 AU

The KASTO SBA 280 AU is a powerful horizontal bandsaw automation system for the precise and economical cutting of solid and profile materials in general mechanical engineering as well as in series and single-item production. With a cutting diameter of up to 280 mm and a cutting range of 280 x 280 mm at 90°, the machine is particularly suitable for the reliable cutting of various materials and cross-sections.

The robust design in combination with a continuously adjustable cutting speed of 17 – 90 m/min enables optimal adaptation to the respective material and ensures clean, dimensionally accurate cutting results. The feed unit allows feed lengths of 600 mm (single) or up to 5400 mm (multiple) – for an efficient, largely automated material flow with minimal scrap length from 30 mm.

The core of the system is the proven KASTO Compact Control, which offers intuitive operation, simple programming of cutting lengths and quantities, and a high level of process reliability in automatic operation. The integrated coolant system ensures optimal cutting conditions and a long service life of the saw blade, while the chip conveyor ensures clean and trouble-free chip removal.

With a compact footprint of approximately 2.68 x 2.54 x 1.59 m and a machine weight of approximately 1.75 t, the SBA 280 AU offers high stability and smooth running, which has a positive effect on cutting quality and service life. Overall, it is a reliable and versatile bandsaw automation system that combines precision, performance and economy in industrial production.
